Welcome to my blog! Into the Thick of It is going to get right into the nitty gritty and honest truths about me and my life! For starters, I think it is only fair that I tell a little bit about myself in order to help my audience feel more personally connected to me and my content, even through a computer screen.
I am from Bend, Oregon (central Oregon), and I am currently living in Corvallis, Oregon in my sorority house (Kappa Delta)! I am currently attending Oregon State in order to get my bachelor's degree in communications, with minors in marketing and applied journalism. An interesting fact about me is that I currently have 4 alpacas, 20 chickens, 3 amazing cattle dogs (miniature Queensland heelers), and four goats! Finally, two goals I have for this term are to understand better how social media influences our communication and interpersonal relationships with others, and to score a summer job at Lululemon in addition to my current job of being a Starbucks barista!
